Writemaps is a visual sitemap builder to plan websites and gather content

I designed the interface and developed the user experience, working in collaboration with Founder and developer Alex Procter. This was a Freelance work that I worked over a period of 2 years on and off for a few months at a time as the tool itself was being developed and tested in the background.

Being able to design and develop a tool that I would use for my own projects is meta, but fantastic.

Once and while you are part of the user group you are designing for and being aware of any personal bias is critical but also having self-awareness of what can make an experience more usable and beautiful to use is as important.
